We are excited to get dressed up with our favorite people and celebrate. You can expect an elegant evening with a laid-back feel. You can put Andrew in a tux, but you can't take his tacos away from him. Feel free to bring a change of shoes for the dance floor, or kick off your heels.

We are keeping our wedding small due to venue limits. We would love your help in keeping details quiet so we don’t accidentally hurt the feelings of loved ones who are unable to be invited. Thank you for your respect and consideration.

For women, please wear knee, midi, or floor-length cocktail dresses. For the Christian church ceremony, we encourage women to pack/wear a shawl or wrap because the church is older and there's always a chance of a draft in the winter. Please do not wear a white dress. White is reserved for the bride. For men, please wear suits and button-up shirts. Ties are optional. Dress shoes are encouraged. Sophisticated sneakers are allowed. We ask that you not wear jeans.

We encourage guests to arrive to the ceremony at 3pm when doors open, as there could be winter weather and traffic. The ceremony begins at 3:30pm.

Christ Community Brookside Church is located at 400 W 67th St, Kansas City, MO 64113. Enter on 66th Terrace or 67th Street. Utilize any legal street parking or Southwest High School's parking lot. Handicap entrance in alleyway drive, northwest side of the building.

If you are staying downtown, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to the Ceremony (Christ Community Brookside) and to the Reception (The Everly Event Space), which are located 6 miles or ~15-20 minutes apart. If you are driving, we recommend carpooling with family/friends and parking in Ceremony and Reception parking lots, or street parking if spots are full. There are ~125 guests and 65 parking spots.

Yes. Uber and Lyft both operate in KC and provide transportation from the airport, to downtown, to the suburbs and beyond. We understand that travel to/from the airport can get expensive. We truly appreciate you investing in this weekend with us. The best gift you can give us is your presence and time.

The Everly Event Space is a stylish 6,400-square-foot, ground-level industrial-chic venue located in the heart of Kansas City's Crossroads District at 210 W 19th Ter, Ste 100, Kansas City, MO 64108. Think big, bright windows with white curtains, wood floors for dancing, brick walls with greenery, and twinkle lights.

We are so excited to celebrate with you. Our event space is limited, so invitations will state if you are allotted a plus one. Every guest must RSVP by the deadline in order to attend.

Our wedding will be an adults-only event, except for children of the bride/groom, and immediate family. Why? It's not every day that we get to celebrate with our closest friends and family. We want you to enjoy your evening and treat yourselves to a date night out.

The RSVP deadline is December 10, 2026. We must have a final guest count for our vendors by this date. Please RSVP using the QR code or link on your invite, or visiting the "RSVP" page of our wedding website on The Knot.

For Cocktail Hour we will serve charcuterie that includes cheeses, meats, crackers, pickles, and fruits. Dinner will be an elevated, upscale gluten-free taco bar with chicken, beef, corn, beans, several toppings, chips, salsa, and queso. Dessert will be a variety of mini desserts. *Please indicate in your RSVP if you have allergies and we will do our best to accommodate. If our vendors are unable to accommodate, we will reach out in advance.

To toast properly, we want our guests to have access to their favorite beverages. Alcoholic drinks including domestic and craft beers, wines (red and white), and cocktails will be provided. Non-alcoholic drinks including water, sodas, and juices will be available. While we will not be serving coffee with dessert, espresso is available by request at the bar.

The bride and groom are currently investigating hotel blocks and will post updated information soon with options. There are many great hotels near the Reception in the Crossroads in Kansas City, MO such as: The Crossroads Hotel, Hotel Indigo, Loews Kansas City, Hampton Inn & Suites, and more. There are also Airbnbs and Vrbo in and near the Kansas City, MO area that you can explore.

Yes, we have a wedding registry. Please visit the "Registry" page of our wedding website on The Knot. Gifts are very much appreciated, but not expected. The biggest gifts you can give us are attending our wedding and celebrating with us, and scheduling time to continue making memories beyond our wedding. That is a very good question, and honestly, it depends. We highly encourage guests to plan for winter weather (winter coat, gloves, scarf, boots) and be pleasantly surprised if it's warmer. Coat checks will be available at both the Ceremony and Reception. Over the past 5 years, the temps have ranged from -10 for the low to 45 for the high. No wedding events will be held outside, but you will be outdoors briefly to travel to/from events. You may also want to stay downtown and explore Kansas City, in which case you will want walking shoes and winter attire.
